- W2388555909 abstract "OBJECTIVE To understand the prevalence of snoring in adults in Deqing County.METHODS A cross-sectional study was carried out in four rural communities in Deqing County,Zhejiang Province.A total of 5 726 subjects aged 18 to 64 years participated in this study.EpiData 3.1(Chinese Version)was used to manage the data and SPSS 11.0 was used for statistical analysis.RESULTS The crude prevalence of snoring was 33.9% and the age-gender-standardized prevalence was 53.8%.And there was a significantly higher trend with age(χ2=193.13,P0.001).Also,in non-conditional multiple-variables logistic model,there were statistical associations between age(OR=1.04,95%CI:1.03～1.05),gender(OR=1.87,95%CI:1.59～2.20),body mass index(OR=1.15,95%CI:1.13～1.18).CONCLUSIONS The prevalence of snoring in adults aged years old was high in rural China." @default.
