- W2388600948 abstract "Purpose: To investigate the value of Multislice CT and reconstruction techniques in diagnosing small intestinal stromal tumors(SIST).Methods: CT manifestations and MPR,MIP reconstruction images of 18 cases with SIST were analyzed,and were compared with the results of surger y and pathology exam.Results: The group included 18 patients with 20 lesions.The tumors originated from the jejunum and ileum in 9 cases,duodenum in 1 case.The mean diameter of tumors was 6.7cm(2.2～17cm).Pathological classification was as following: Among them,60%(12/20) were high-risk,15%(3/20) were intermediated-risk,25%(5/20) were low-risk,no case was very low-risk.CT features of SIST were lobular or irregular,exophytic,hypervascular,heterogeneous masses with cystic necrosis and air.The feeding artery and draining vein of 11 lesions(55%) could be showed on MPR,MIP.Of all the cases 27.8 %(5/18) accompanied with other tumors.One case had liver and lymph node metastasis.Conclusion: Appearances of SIST are specific.Multislice CT with MPR,MIP reconstruction have an important value in localization and qualitative diagnosis of SIST." @default.
