- W2388865914 abstract "The main bridge of Huanggang Changjiang River Rail-cum-Road Bridge is a steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge with a main span 567 m and the pylons of the bridge are the H-shape concrete structures.In the construction of a pylon,the concrete for the pylon columns was cast by the hydraulic climbing formwork.The lower cross beam was constructed on the scaffolding supported on the ground and the concrete for the cross beam was cast synchronously with the concrete for the segments of the lower pylon columns.When the middle pylon columns were constructed,two temporary cross bracings were arranged to improve the force conditions of the pylon columns at the construction stage.The upper cross beam was constructed on the trapezoid truss scaffolding and the concrete of the cross beam was cast asynchronously with the concrete for the pylon columns.The concrete for both the upper and lower cross beams was all cast in two layers.The finite element software MIDAS Civil was used to set up the model and to analyze the construction process of the pylons and the results of the analysis indicate that the concrete stress of the upper and lower cross beams when concreted in layers can meet the relevant requirements in the code and can effectively decease the load carried by the scaffoldings.The arrangement of the temporary cross bracings can ensure that the stress and displacement of the pylons will meet the requirements at the construction stage and the local stress of the pylon columns at supports of the trapezoid truss scaffolding for construction of the upper cross beam can meet the requirements as well." @default.
