- W2388896494 abstract "In order to control the gas of the coal mining face in the protective seam,the long distance and large diameter boreholes at the high level was drilled by No.4 Mine of Pingdingshan Coal Mining Group Corporation limited.The completed diameter of the borehole was 193 mm,the average depth of the borehole was over 100 m and the boreholes were applied to drain the high density gas in the crack zone of the goaf.The paper in detail introduced the high level drilling site,borehole parameters optimization and improved borehole sealing technology.The results showed that with the above measures,the volume fraction of the gas drained from the high level drilling site was increased to 12%～30%,the combined gas flow value was increased to 25.68～45.70 m3/min,the pure flow value was increased to 3.08～8.73 m3/min,the gas volume fraction at the top corner was decreased to 0.2%～0.6%,the gas volume fraction in the air return gateway was decreased to 0.2%～0.7%,the coal production per month of the coal mining face in protective seam would be over 100 000 t,the gas-fired power generation would be 35 000～38 000 kW·h and the coal and gas could be mined at the same time." @default.
