- W2389029222 abstract "Reaction behaviors of C_5 dienes in thermal dimerization were investigated by the seal-tube method. Reaction temperature, residence time and different cyclopentadiene (CPD) content in C_5 fraction were taken into account. Results indicated that , CPD conversion would be greater than 92%; isoprene (IP), piperylene and 1,3(butadiene's) conversions would be about 7%, 1.5%, 13%, respectively; dicyclopentadiene (DCPD)yield would reach to 80% approximately; total amount of unknown dimmer would be about 2.6%, under the reaction conditions of temperature 115～(125℃), reaction time 2～(3h), and CPD mass fraction in C_5 raw material greater than 17%. CPD conversion and DCPD yield would increase with the CPD content increase in C_5 fraction. Reaction loss of IP was reduced a little when CPD content decreased after a period of time preservation. Experimental data laid a basis for the design of thermal dimerization equipment using for separating C_5 fraction." @default.
