- W2389078085 abstract "The characteristics of luxury zinc absorption of more than twenty vegetables and other crops were studied. The results are summarized as follows.①The potential capacity of luxury zinc absorption(the ratio of the highest zinc content to the lowest in the edible parts when plant grows normally and zinc application increases gradually)depends on the organ which is edible.②The tolerance of vegetable plants to zinc fertilizers and the zinc content in the edible plant parts are mainly concerned with vegetable species and varieties.③The luxury zinc absorbed by a vegetable plant are not necessarily concentrated in its edible parts, but distributed in different parts in order of rootstem and leaffruit.④During luxury absorption, zinc content in new or old tissues of a vegetable plant Increased almost at the same pace.⑤By increasing zinc fertilizer application,it is possible to enhance the zinc content in plants by several to several dozens of times over usual plant zinc content, and thus improve the nutritive value." @default.
