- W2389133096 abstract "The water gas shift reaction over an industrial ferrochrome shift catalyst B113-2 was studied by steady experiments in a fixed-bed plug flow microreactor consisting of a stainless-steel tube with eliminating diffusion effect at 618～723 K and 1.0 MPa. The different dependencies of the intrinsic kinetics were evaluated by a power law kinetic model, which was found to give an excellent representation of the kinetic data. Comparatively, the kinetic parameters of this model are consistent with that of traditional water gas shift catalyst. The influence of CO on the reaction rate is depressed comparing with other traditional ferrochrome shifts catalysts, which may be resulted from the additional Cu component in this catalyst. The rate expression indicates a strong inhibition on the forward rate by CO_2. It’s crucial to reduce the resistance effect of the CO_2 in favor of the reaction rate. The influence of H_2 on the reaction rate can be neglected." @default.
