• W2389180968 abstract "Objective To observe the clinical effect of Sulfasalazine combined with Medilac-S or Bifidobiogen in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(UC). Methods Ninety six cases of patients with UC who received treatment in the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University from March 2012 to December 2014 were selected to carry on research. They were divided into group A, B, C according to the random number table, with 32 cases in each group. Group C was only given Sulfasalazine Tablets, based on group C, group A was added with Medilac-S, group B was added with Bifidobiogen. The fecal flora scores, decline percentage of symptom scores, Sutherland indexes, colonoscopy classification integral, pathologic grading integral, colonoscopy image and histological image of the three groups before and after treatment were compared, and the incidence of complications among the three groups was compared. Results The fecal flora scores of group A and B after treatment were lower than before treatment and group C after treatment, and the decline percentages of symptom scores were higher than that of group C, the differences were all statistically significant(P 0.01 or P 0.05). The Sutherland indexes of the three groups after treatment were lower than before treatment, the differences were all highly statistically significant(all P 0.01). The Sutherland indexes of group A and B after treatment were all lower than that of group C, and the difference values of group A and B were all higher than that of group C,the differences were all statistically significant(all P 0.05). The colonoscopy classification integral and pathologic grading integral of the three groups after treatment were lower than before treatment, the differences were all highly statistically significant(all P 0.01). There were no significant differences of the incidence of complications among the three groups(P 0.05). Conclusion Sulfasalazine combined with Medilac-S or Bifidobiogen in the treatment of UC is both effective, with high safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application." @default.
