- W2389185718 abstract "Objective:To explore the parental identification status on disabilities of disabled children aged 0～6 years in Beijing and try to analyze the factors which impact on the identification.Methods:326 children were divided into case and control groups according to the identification status,and to compare the differences of some factors between the two groups through univariate and multivariate statistics analyses.Results:The identification status is the worst of the parents whose children are suffered from mental retardation;The risk factors to parental identificalion on children's disabilities included:living in rural areas,boys,the younger,with mother of low education level,single disability,low severity.Conclusion:The parents with disabled children in Beijlng are not good at identifying the disabilities of their children.lt is recommended strongly that the sectors of child health care and rehabilitation should strengthen the health education on the prevention and identification of disabilities,and at the same time,.the trainings to the primary workers of child health care should be emphasized in order to increase their knowledge of prevention and identification of disabilities and enhance their ability to offer services of consultation and instruction." @default.
