- W2389275615 abstract "NiTi SAM/FC composites have been prepared by the method of depositing ferroelectric ceramics (FC) films on NiTi shape memory alloy ( NiTi SAM ) substrate with the sol-gel method. The phase structure and hetero-structure of the composites have been examined by using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer (DMA) is utilized to test the damping capacities and compare the differences between NiTi SAM/FC composites and NiTi SAM substrates. The results show pure perovskitic structure is obtained for FC films part of NiTi SAM/FC composites. For NiTi SAM/FC composites, when the temperature is lower than 20 ℃, the damping tgδ is stabilized at 3.5%, the vibration frequencies (within 0.33～10 Hz) have a small effect on damping capacities. Within the temperature of 20～40 ℃, there is a tgδ peak up to 5.0%. Compared with the pure TiNi SMA materials, the damping capacities of NiTi SAM/FC composites are better." @default.
