- W2389665760 abstract "【Objective 】The present study was carried out to explore the effects of oligochitosan treatment on sugarcane physiological indices and drought resistant mechanism under drought stress in order to provide references for oligochitosan application in drought resistance of crops. 【Method 】Sugarcane variety ROC22 was used as tested material. Three treatments viz., mormal watering(CK), keeping drought stress, and spraying 100 mg/L oligochitosan solution at the early elongation stage under drought stress were designed, and the +1 leaves of all treatments were taken on 2, 4, 6, 8 days after spraying to determine the endopeptidase, MDA, soluble sugar, Fv/ Fmand ΦPS II. 【Result 】Under normal watering, the endopeptidase activity, MDA content, soluble sugar content, Fv/ Fmand ΦPS II,and RWC of sugarcane leaves kept at certain level without significant change. With the elongation of drought stress time, the endopeptidase activity, MDA and soluble sugar contents of sugarcane leaves in drought stress and oligochitosan treatments presented increasing trend. While the Fv/ Fmand ΦPS II of drought stress treatment, and the relative water content(RWC) of drought stress and oligochitosan treatments showed decreasing trends. The endopeptidase activity of leaves after 2-8 days of oligochitosan treating was higher than that of drought stress treatment to varying degrees, while the MDA content of drought stress on 4-8 days was higher than that of oligochitosan treatment. The soluble sugar and RWC of leaves after 2-6 days of oligochitosan treating were lower than those of drought stress treatment, while they were significantly higher than the drought stress treatment on the 8thdays, which were 28.1 mg/g and 66.7%. Meanwhile, the Fv/ Fmand ΦPS II of oligochitosan treatment showed increasing trends and reached the highest on the 8thdays, which were 1.28 and 1.58 times higher than drought stress treatment. 【Conclusion 】It concluded that applying oligochitosan could regulate the process of physiological metabolism in sugarcane leaves under drought stress, improve adaptablity of sugarcane leaves to drought stress, and enhance drought resistance of sugarcane." @default.
