- W2390135113 abstract "The affinity-absorbents of four different lectins (WGA, conA, H-RGL and S-RGL) were utilized to isolate their possible endogenous receptors from mature rice embryo of Shuangfeng No.1 cv., H-RGL and S-RGL were prepared from Hanfeng and Shuangring No.1 cv., of Oryza sativa subsp, japoniaca respectively. It was shown that the embryo contained receptors for H-RGL, S-RGL and conA, but on receptor for WGA was isolated.The receptors for conA consisted of 2 major proteins which were separated into 7 major bards in SDS-PAGE. The receptor for RGLs could bc separated into 1 and about 8 bands on the low pH (pH 4.5) disc-and SDSPAGEs respectively. The receptors for HRGL and S-RGL had identical mobilities in both low pH disc-and SDS-PAGE. It suggested that the two RGLS had the same endogenous receptors.It was shown that the content of receptor for conA(1.0～1.5 mg g~(-1) embryo) and its. number in rice embryo were higher than those for RGLs (0.1～0.2 mg g~(-1) embryo). The relationship between this phenomenon and physiological functions of endogenous receptors was discussed." @default.
