- W2390266039 abstract "The influencing factors, characteristics of poly-pentose dissolution and the change rules of hydrolysate in the processes of chip hydrolysis were studied in this paper. The results showed that the size of chips affects the dissolution of ploy-pentose in a certain degree. The washing ways of the hot-water extracted chip have an important influence on the poly-pentose content in chip. The BET surface area, pore volume and pore size of the chips significantly increase after hydrolysis. Increasing P factor leads to the increase of BET surface area of chip and accelerates the dissolution of poly-pentose; however, the dissolution rate changes little when the P factor is more than 674. Too high P factor results in the decreases of BET surface and pore volume of the chip. The pH value of hydrolysate ranges from 3.0 to 5.5. The high hydrolysis temperature enhances the dissolution of pentose and also accelerates the production of furaldehyde. The suitable hydrolysis temperature of poplar chip is 170℃ and the holding time is 60 min for the comprehensive utilization of biomass." @default.
