- W2390691698 abstract "This teststudied the effect of temperature on germination characters of seeds in two different varieties of maize,which are Nongda 108 and Ludan 981.We also analyzed the differences of germination characters of different maize' varieties under different temperature.The result indicated thatin the range of 20～32.5℃ with the increasing of temperature every germination index of each sample became higher and higher,including germination energy,germination rate,germination index,vigor index.When the temperature reacheda certain stage these indexes had a declined trend.As other requirements for seed germination were met,the maximum germination temperature,optima germination temperature,minimum germination temperature of different varieties of maize had a little difference.For the same variety,low temperature affected the bourgeon course of it's seed and the seed emergence was stayedoff,especially when the seed had low vigor.So we shouldpay attention to the seed of low vigor and choose optimum time to sowit." @default.
