- W2391127002 abstract "To study the effects of notogisenoside-Rg_1 on brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) protein in hippocampi of focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury,as well as to investigate whether notogisenoside-Rg_1 can up-regulate the protein content of BDNF of the positive neurons and the amount of the positive neurons.60 Adult male SD rats,weighing 280～320 g,were randomly divided into model group,high dose group,middle dose group,low dose group,and the positive control group.Comparing with the model group,all notogisenoside-Rg_1 treated groups and the positive control group can obviously improve some nervous deficit symptoms in the rat.They also can increase the protein content of BDNF of the positive neurons and the amount of the positive neurons in the hippocampi of focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury in rat(P0.05).Comparing with the positive control group,in middle dose treated group(100 mg/kg) with 7 d,the effect of notogisenoside-Rg_1 was superior to the nimodipine(1 mg/kg) on that improve some nervous deficit symptoms,as well as increase the protein content of BDNF of the positive neurons and the amount of the positive neurons.Notogisenoside-Rg_1 could up-regulate the expression of BDNF and increase the amount of positive neurons in hippocampi.It treated cerebral ischemia by the protection of BDNF on neurons injury in the focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion,which can be one of the protective mechanism of gisenoside-Rg_1 on focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury." @default.
