- W2391742790 abstract "Succinic acid was a by-product co-existing with adipic acid and glutaric acid in the manufacture of adipic acid.It was necessary to study the solubility of succinic acid in cyclohexane,cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol in order to prove the purification of adipic acid.By the use of solid-liquid balance measuring device,the solubilities of succinic acid were measured in cyclohexane,cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol single solvent and its mixed solvents.The results showed that the solubility of succinic acid was 3.9784 g and 1.2070 g respectively in cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol belong to soluble;only 0.0082 g in cyclohexane belong to insoluble;that the order of ability to dissolve was cyclohexanonecyclohexanolcyclohexane at 20～50 ℃,while cyclohexanolcyclohexanonecyclohexane at 60～80 ℃.Solubility of succinic acid increased with the temperature and the increase of alcohol-ketone content in the mixed solvent system." @default.
