- W2392933627 abstract "Objective To explore the effect and safety of entirely sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia by the laryngeal mask in pediatric surgery.Method 60 cases of 2～10-year-old children were selected for surgery,placing laryngeal mask and depending only on inhaled sevoflurane anes thesia after the induction of high concentrations of sevoflurane.Result Laryngeal masks were successfully placed in 60 cases of children,the 1st time with 86.7 % success rate,the 2nd time with 93.3 % success rate,and the 3rd time with 100 % success rate.The process of anesthesia was sta ble,without respiratory congestion,cough,throat spasm,aspiration of gastric contents and so on.The average time to open eyes was(12.3±3.7) min,and children being visited 24 h later had no memory of surgical procedures,none of whom felt throat sore.Conclusion At the condition of laryngeal mask to keep smooth respiratory tract,sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia with an advantage of stable induction,rapid effect,fast and to tally awaking,can be used safely and effectively in pediatric anesthesia." @default.
