- W2393036603 abstract "Objective To explore the related factors of unintentional injuries among rural children in Shiyan city,and to provide some theoretical basis for carrying out the effective interventions to reduce the incidence of unintentional injuries of children.Methods The cluster random sampling methods were conducted among the 527 children who were aged 0～6 years old between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2001.The questionnaire included the child' general information and unintentional injuries' information. Database was set up with Foxpro, and the data was analyzed using Chi-square test, exact Fishers, T test and logistic regression.Results The morbidity of unintentional injuries of rural children of Shiyan City was 29.06%. The result indicates the following factors can affect the incidence of countryside children, such as: children's gender, personality, living ability, et al.Conclusion The incidence of rural children's unintentional injuries in the study village of Shiyan city is high, and it is an important problem for children. It's necessary to adopt effective measure to prevent the happening of unintentional injuries." @default.
