- W2393044336 abstract "Objective To investigate a method decreasing intracranial pressure (ICP) without medication and other instruments or apparatuses. Methods One hundred patients undergoing neurosurgical operation,20 pateits were selected randomly into the control group without any special treatment, the other patients were divided into group 1,group 2, group 3, depending on the period of operation, the site of operation and the position of operation and subtemperature group, each group contents 20 patients. Group 1, group 2 and group 3 took head up position of 20 degree,30 degree and 40 degree, the subtemperature group took laid down position and the period off operation more than 4 h.Place alcohol gauze to where the aorta beat after the patients were anesthetized and turn on the temperature-decreasing blanket,in order to decrease the patients temperature to 33～35℃.The control group did not take any special treatment. Record ICP of the five groups of patients at the time on preanesthesia,intubation,section,opening the window of bone ,cutting the dural with scissors ,exposing the tumor, removing the tumor ,the end of operation and extubation. Results ICP may be controlled effectively in subtemperature group ,position-changing group of 30 degree and 40 degree ,compared with other groups(P0.05, P0.01). Conclusion The patients take the head up position of 30 degree and at the same time, the temperature is decreased to 33～35℃,is a more effective method to decrease ICP and protect cerebral tissue." @default.
