- W2393047498 abstract "Objective To explore the smoking behavior,relative knowledge and attitude about smoking among college students in Shandong province.Methods Total 1 006 students were selected by cluster sampling method based on classes,and investigated with the on-site questionnaire.Results The smoking rate,current smoking rate and attempt smoking rate were 12.23%,10.04% and 9.97% respectively in students.It was obviously that the rates were higher in boy students than in girl students,and higher in senior students than in junior students.The awareness rates of smoking and health among students were 29.62%～91.85%.The support rates about ban on smoking among teacher and students were 23.86%~79.03%.The proportion of total ban on smoking in public places in order were hospital,public transportation,and waiting room,working place,dining room,school,government offices and bar.The support rate about complete no-smoking in school was only 63.92%.The support rate about forbidding cigarette advertisement overall was only 56.86%.It was lower in smoker than in non-smoker about the acknowledge rate of smoking and health,the supporting rate of ban on smoking in teachers and students,and the support rate of no-smoking in public places and forbidding cigarette advertisement.Conclusion Smoking is common in universities.Their knowledge about smoking and health is insufficient.The attitude to smoking and to complete no-smoking in public places of teachers and students should be improved." @default.
