- W2393060749 abstract "Hydrophobical monomer,N,N-diallyl-N-octylamine(DiAC8),was prepared by the reaction of diallyamine with 1-bromooctane.A series of hydrophobic associating water-soluble polymers,poly(acrylamide-sodium acrylate-N,N-diallyl-N-octylamine)[P(AM-NaAA-DiAC8)],were synthesized by co-hydrolysis with alkali before radically micellar copolymerization.The structures of DiAC8 and P(AM-NaAA-DiAC8) were characterized by 1H NMR,FT-IR and elemental analysis.The associating behaviors in aqueous solution of P(AM-NaAA-DiAC8) were investigated by fluorescence spectrum using pyrene as a probe.The results showed that when x(DiAC8) was 0.10%～1.40%,with the increase of polymer concentration and r(DiAC8),the Ⅰ1/Ⅰ3 values of pyrene decreased whether in redistilled water or in 1 mol·L-1 NaCl aqueous solution.The experimental results showed that the properties and association behaviors of P(AM-NaAA-DiAC8) were pronouncedly dependent on the polymer concentration,the hydrophobe mole fraction and the medium polarity." @default.
