- W2393671946 abstract "The reactions of M*[(R-Cp)M1(CO)3] (R=CO2Et, COMe; M* = Na; R=n-Bu; M*- La) with CpM2FeCo(CO)8(μ3 - S) have been carried out to give six tetrahedral chiral clusters (R-CP)M1CPM2Fe(CO)7(μ3-S) (I -3: M1 = W, M2 = Mo, R=CO2Et; II: M1 = W, M2 = Mo, R = COMe; II: M1 = W, M2 = Mo, R=n-Bu; IV-2 : M1=Mo, M2 = W, R=CO2Et; V: M1 = Mo, M2 = W, R = COMe; M : M1 = Mo, M2 = W, R = n - Bu) having large substituting group in cyclopentadienyl. These clusters were characterized by elemental analyses, IR and 1H/13C NMR. The possible reaction path - ways were also discussed herewith. The cluster M* [(R - Cp)M1(CO)3] can give the group [(R- Cp)M1(CO)2](d5 ML5) under reaction conditions, which have isolobal analogue tothe group Co(CO)3(d9 ML3) in cluster (R - Cp)M1CpM2Fe(CO)7(us - S) .The title clusters are derived from isolobal displacement reaction between the cluster M* [(R- Cp)M1(CO)3] and (R- Cp)M1Cp-M2Fe(CO)7(μ3-S)." @default.
