- W2393802011 abstract "Objective To study the clinical effects of Q switched ruby and alexandrite lasers in treating tattoos, cosmetic tattoss of eyebrow and eyelid, tattoos of exploder and trauma, and to research on pathology in albino guinea pigs tattooed and treated with aforementioned laser. Method 1. In clinical Total of 1 112 cases with tattoos, cosmetic tattoos of eyebrow and eyelid, tattoos of exploder, and traumatic tattoos were treated by Q switched ruby (694 nm, 40 ns, 5.0 mm sport size, 5 8 J/cm 2) and alexandrite lasers (755 nm, 100 ns, 2.4 mm sport size, 7.8 9.8 J/cm 2), with interval for 2 4 months until pigmentary clearance.2 In experimental 10 albino guinea pigs with black, blue, brown and red tattoo were treated by two kinds of lasers. Before and after treatments, the changes in pathology were researched. Results Tattoos were removed by two lasers for 2 4 times in 142 cases cosmetic tattoos of eyebrow and eyelid were removed for 2 6 times in 860 cases; Different degree of lightening was found in 6 cases with tattoos of exploder treated for 1 6 times; tattoos of 94 cases were removed and tattoos of 10 cases lightened significantly in 104 cases with traumatic tattoos for 2 6 times. There was not significantly different in clinical between two types of laser. In albino guinea pigs, the colors of black, blue and brown were cleared out, but the red was changeless. The sizes and shapes were different before treatment, and after treatment pigmentary granules were broken, its volume was smaller with higher density. The pigmentary granules could be found in phagocytes posttreatment. They disappeared on recovery. The red tattoos was changeless. Conclusions Q switched ruby and alexandrite lasers are efficient in treating tattoo and tattoo of external causes without scar. The treatmenet results of the two types of equipments are not significantly different. Maybe, the phagocytes participated in the clearance of pigments after treatment." @default.
