- W2394196070 abstract "Objective To observe the regulatory effect of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction( HJD) on lipid metabolism and inflammatory factors in hyperlipidemic mice. Methods Forty-eight male C57 BL / 6 mice were randomly divided into 6 groups, namely conventional forage group, high-fat forage group, conventional forage plu s antibiotics group, high-fat forage plus antibiotics group, low-and high-dose Chinese medicine groups.Mice in conventional forage group and high-fat forage group were fed with the corresponding forage for 8 weeks.Mice in low-and high-dose Chinese medicine groups were given gastric gavage of 3.9 and 7.8 g·kg-1·d-1of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction respectively for 2 weeks after fed with high-fat forage for 6 weeks. Mice in both antibiotics groups received drink water containing antibiotics freely for 2 weeks after fed with conventional forage or high-fat forage for 6 weeks. At the end of experiment, mice in all of the groups were executed, and body mass, total cholesterol(TC), tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α, interleukin 6(IL-6), and endotoxin were determined. Results Low-dose Huanglian Jiedu Decoction could significantly decrease the contents of TNF-α, IL-6 and endotoxin, but had no effect on serum TC. Conclusion The therapeutic mechanism of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction for inflammatory state of hyperlipidemic mice is probably related with the decrease of serum inflammatory factors." @default.
