• W2402930634 abstract "Persoalan yang dikaji dalam tulisan ini difokuskan pada operator Bahasa Bima, yaitu bentuk dan fungsi operator bahasa Bima. Secara lintas bahasa, operator dikenal sebagai unsur-unsur yang tidak dilekatkan pada unsur lain, seperti did dan not dalam bahasa Inggris dan ka, pemarkah tanya, dalam Bahasa Jepang. Wujudnya beragam, misalnya afiks, klitik, atau kata bergantung pada tipe-tipe bahasa itu sendiri. Hasil penelitian yang mengkaji operator Bahasa Bima masih belum banyak dilakukan sehingga sebagai penelitian awal dan untuk menambah wawasan kelinguistikan, kajian ini sangat menarik untuk dibicarakan. Karena metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian linguistik  lapangan,  metode  yang  digunakan  dalam  pengumpulan  data  adalah  metode  elisitasi, metode perekaman, dan metode observasi. Ketiga metode itu dibantu dengan teknik catat. Analisis penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan konsep yang diperkenalkan oleh Van Valin dan La Polla dalam teori Role and Reference Grammar. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan metode padan dan distribusional dengan teknik lanjutan teknik hubung banding, teknik lesap, dan teknik subsitusi sehingga unsur-unsur yang dinamai operator dapat dengan mudah dikenali. Pada hasil analisis data, diketahui  bahwa  operator  dalam  bahasa  Bima  dimarkahi  dengan  klitik  dan  kata  seperti  1)  klitik seperti ku-, na-, dan mu- dan 2) preposisi seperti kai dan labo. Selain itu, diketahui pula Bahasa Bima memiliki operator berupa aspek dan penegasi.Kata kunci Bahasa Bima, kategori gramatikal, operator, pemarkah, predikat.AbstractThe present study concerns with the forms and the functions of Bima language operator. Operator is known as an element attached to another element such as ‘did’ and ‘not’ in English, and ka as the interrogative marker in Japanese. The forms of operator can vary from one language to another for examples affix and clitics. The study regarding language operator is hardly found; therefore, Bima language operator is interesting to be studied. The operator is one theory that has been introduced in the work of Van Valin and La Polla in 1997. Since Bima language is one of Austronesian languages, this theory is applied to analyze the data. In the method of the study, there are some steps in data collection including elicitation, recording, and observation. Each step is followed by note-taking. To identify the operators, techniques of deletion and substitution are applied. The results of the study which are obtained through the concept of Role and Reference Grammar show that clitics (ku-, na-, mu-) and prepositions (kai, labo) are the operators in Bima language.
