- W2403410006 abstract "O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o estado trofic o da agua e identificar o nutriente limitante do reservatorio Jacarecica I (Sergipe, Brasil), utiliz ando o indice de estado trofico (IET) proposto por Carlson. Os parâmetros fisicos, quimicos e biologic os utilizados foram o pH, transparencia, condutividade eletrica, concentracoes de amonia, ni trito, nitrato, nitrogenio total, fosforo total, ox igenio dissolvido e clorofila-a. Para estes parâmetros, e importante ressaltar que as concentracoes de todos os nutrientes foram maiores no periodo de chuva do que no periodo de seca, logicamente pela maior deposicao de materia orgânica ao logo longo do peri metro irrigado. Os valores de fosforo total, oxigen io dissolvido e clorofila a ultrapassaram os limites e stabelecidos na Resolucao n o 375/05 do CONAMA para as Classes 1 e 2 de aguas. Observou, tambem, que o nutriente limitante do reservatorio foi de nitrogen io durante o periodo seco e de fosforo durante o perio do chuvoso. Alem disso, com base nos resultados do IET, a classificacao do reservatorio variou de eutr ofico a oligotrofico, dependendo da epoca e do loca l de amostragem, ocorrendo reducao do estado trofico no sentido do rio para a represa. Palavras-chave: Eutrofizacao; Nutriente-limitante; Qualidade da Agua The objective of this study was to evaluate the tro phic state of water and identify the limiting nutri ent reservoir Jacarecica I (Sergipe, Brazil), using the trophic state index (EIT) by Carlson. The physical , chemical and biological agents used were pH, transp arency, electrical conductivity, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, dissolve d oxygen and chlorophyll-a. For these parameters, i t is noteworthy that the concentrations of all nutrients were higher during the rainy season than during th e dry season, most logically by deposition of organic mat ter to just over irrigated. The values of total phosphorus, dissolved oxygen and chlorophyll a exceeded the limits established in Resolution No. 375/0 5 of CONAMA for Class 1 and Class 2 water. Noted also that the limiting nutrient was nitrogen reservoir during the dry and phosphorus during the rainy seas on. Furthermore, based on the results of the EIT, t he classification of the reservoir ranged from eutroph ic to oligotrophic depending on season and sampling site, resulting in reduction of the trophic state t owards the river to the dam." @default.
