The as-synthesized catalysts with suitable Pt loading of 0.15–0.20wt.% and calcination temperature of 450 °C, reveal the best adhesion strength and highest catalytic activity in toluene complete oxidation reaction, which are attributed to an uniform point-shape distribution of platinum microparticles with certain spacing intervals on the surface of FeCrAl substrate. Such the point-shape distribution structure can improve the active sites to fully contact with the reactants, further promote the phase transformation of Pt0/Pt2+ and Ola/Oad, and finally maintain the normal operation of Pt0-PtO synergetic mechanism during toluene oxidation reaction." @default.
