• W2409307680 abstract "Web-based Spatial decision support system (SDSS) as customized GIS to answerspecific problems was proposed to help non GIS-expert decision makers on theiractivities and communications. The main objective of this research was to developsuch application for collaborative lahars disaster management especially forresponse and recovery phase of the impact on infrastructures at Sleman Regency.Questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were used to investigate their needof the system, the data availability, collaborative procedures, and evaluation of theapplication prototype. The results showed that there are several roles which wereidentified during interview processes. Each agency makes response and recoveryplan and action based on their responsibilities when lahars disaster occurred. Ontheir collaborative work, all decision makers from selected agencies agreed thatspatial data is important in their communication. Unfortunately, they are realizedthat it is practically very limited and not adequate to fulfill their need.Accordingly, several data requirements were identified in this research. The datawas collected and organized to develop geodatabase. On this developmentprocesses, 67% of respondents stated that spatial data is available in theiragencies, but it varied in scale and newness. Yogyakarta Single Base Map wasused on this system to solve the problem. Unfortunately, the differences thedataset and their own dataset were found. The geodatabase was elaborated withthe MBMS to develop web-based interactive user interface (DGMS). Therefore,the application was utilized with specific spatial analysis tools i.e. temporaryhousing site selection, and some tools to select priority on infrastructuresreparation. The usersâ�� evaluation of the prototype resulted that almost all ofrespondents give a good mark to the system. 80% of them agreed that theapplication will be useful. However, some suggestion and feedbacks need to beaccommodated to make the system fully implementable and user friendly." @default.
