- W2409945146 abstract "We have performed a fixed-nuclei two-state coupled-channel calculation for the photoionization of ${mathrm{N}}_{2}$ leading to the ${(2{ensuremath{sigma}}_{u})}^{ensuremath{-}1} B^{2}ensuremath{Sigma}_{u}^{+}$ and ${(3{ensuremath{sigma}}_{g})}^{ensuremath{-}1} X^{2}ensuremath{Sigma}_{g}^{+}$ states of ${mathrm{N}}_{2}^{+}$, using the Pad'e-approximant $stackrel{ifmmode tilde{}else ~{}fi{}}{C}$-functional formalism. We have found quantitative agreement with vibrationally unresolved experimental data for the photoelectron asymmetry parameter. Of particular interest is the good agreement of the asymmetry parameter in the ${(2{ensuremath{sigma}}_{u})}^{ensuremath{-}1}$ channel in the photon energy range of 25-35 eV where there are strong channel-coupling effects due to the shape resonance in the ${(3{ensuremath{sigma}}_{g})}^{ensuremath{-}1}$ channel." @default.
