The survey found out what stimuli (cold, hot, sour, mechanical, chemical) cause the appearance of dental hyperesthesia. The detailed survey of the affected area aimed to determine the presence of dental caries, gingival recession, wedge-shaped defects, erosions, microcracks and chipped enamel, as well as wear of the tooth crown. Forty-threepatients of 98 (43.88%) had tooth sensitivity. Most affected age group was 25-34 years (33%). Among patients studied with hyperesthesia 86% complained of pain. It was establishedthat dental hyperesthesia most often causes an intense, but quickly passing pain response, wherein upon exposure of several types of stimuli. Teeth with high sensitivity showed signs of abrasion (74.1%), most often--on the vestibular surface (44.4%). Patients under 45 years had notable cracks and wedge-shaped defects. In patients 45 years and older cracks and increased abrasion of hard dental tissues was seen.На амбулаторном приеме проведено клиническое обследование 98 пациентов в возрасте от 20 до 75 лет с целью выявления особенностей клинического течения повышенной чувствительности твердых тканей зубов. В ходе опроса выясняли, какие раздражители (холодные, горячие, кислые, механические, химические) вызывают гиперестезию зубов. Детально изучали виды поражения: кариес зубов, рецессия десны, клиновидные дефекты, эрозии, микротрещины и сколы эмали, стертость коронок зубов. Использовали основные и дополнительные методы обследования. У 43 (43,88%) человек определена повышенная чувствительность зубов. Наиболее часто (в 33% случаев) жалобы на нее предъявляли пациенты в возрасте 25-34 лет. 86% пациентов с гиперестезией жаловались на боль, причем в основном это была интенсивная, но быстропроходящая реакция. Установлено, что гиперестезия зубов чаще всего проявляется именно так, причем реакция возникает под воздействием нескольких видов раздражителей. При повышенной чувствительности зубов определяется убыль их твердых тканей (у 74,1% обследованных), наиболее часто (у 44,4%) - на вестибулярной поверхности. У пациентов до 45 лет отмечаются трещины и клиновидные дефекты, у пациентов 45 лет и старше - трещины и повышенная стираемость твердых тканей зубов." @default.
