- W2417743287 abstract "In this study, we designed a thin frequency selective surface (FSS) structure for a 5 GHz wireless local area network (WLAN) frequency bandstop. A novel hexagonal structure was designed with the intent to implement stability-affirming frequency properties in response to various incident wave angles and transverse electric (TE) and transverse magnetic (TM) polarization. The feasibility of designing an FSS structure that operates within the desired frequency range and that can be tuned through adjustment of specific design parameters was proven. The performance of the designed structure was examined via simulation, in which the incident wave angle (0–60°) was varied. Hence, it was revealed that the changes in resonance frequency for both polarization types were 0.6% or lower for simulations and 2.7% for measurements. The measurement results show good agreements with the simulation results and we can obtain better angle and polarization stability." @default.
