- W2419334199 abstract "It is well-known fact that the patient with idiopathic renal bleeding shows frequently following changes; activation of plasmin in plasma, diminution of plasma fibrinogen, positive CPP action. Epsilon is usually used with satisfying result on this condition. In the studies herein reported, an attempt has been made to clarify the pathologic physiology of idiopathic renal bleeding and the cause of the disease.1) Activation of plasmin in plasma, diminution of plasma fibrinogen and positive CPP action (capillary permeability promoting action) of serum were observed in rabbits, led to experimental Reilly phenomenon.2) Chlorpromazine and Epsilon showed the inhibition of these changes. However, the mechanism of inhibitory action of these substances was considered to be completely different.3) In experimental anaphylactic shock due to egg-white albumin, same pathologic changes, which were observed in experimental Reilly phenomenon, were detected. The strength of CPP action varied in parallel with that of PCA (passive cutaneous anaphylaxis).4) Chlorpromazine inhibited this anaphylactic shock and three changes; activation of plasmin, diminution of plasma fibrinogen, CPP action. Both Epsilon and Strong Neo-Minophagene C, however, were not able to inhibit all these changes.5) The local fibrinolytic enzyme system of rabbit kidney was examined. The kidney of rabbit, suffered from experimental Reilly phenomenon or anaphylactic shock, revealed to have the acceleration of fibrinolytic activity and the inhibitory action of fibrinolytic activity in the extract of human maxillary sinus mucous membrane.6) CPP action of serum, PCA and accumulation of dye probably due to Leukotaxin were completely inhibited by using Epsilon. According to these findings, Epsilon might be considered to exert its inhibitory action on both plasmin and vascular reaction.7) The result of experiment showed the participation of fibrinolytic enzyme system of blood and kidney, and of CPP action of serum, in the occurrence idiopathic renal bleeding." @default.
