- W2424565204 abstract "The considerable evolution of the exact sciences allowed to develop intelligent measurement systems allowing to make the acquisition of the physical or electric quantities, the observation, the interpretation, the control of the functions and the display of the results. The measure is returned to an algorithm of digital treatment exploited by a PC via a card of interface making the adaptation between the outside environment and the intelligent system. Indeed, these modern techniques brought by the programmable instrumentation are exploited in the present work for the measure of the electric power single-phase and the management of the energy in housing environments. We note that the consumption of the energy is increasing and this gives some explanation by the increase of number of the households fervent followers of the digital devices and the heating also. With an intelligent electrical energy control, we can lower the consumption and fight against the wasting of energy. Besides the increase of the price lists of the electricity should incite the uses to watch their installation to inquire of the consumption to master them better. Indeed, the analysis of the results of the consumption can bring us to intervene directly on the latter. We note that with the increased power electronics, the measure of the energy consumed by a load is not anymore a simple operation to be realized by a classic meter or a simple assembly of a wattmeter associated with a chronometer. The use of nonlinear loads in domestic dwellings increases energy consumption and introduces thus the harmonic pollution to the distribution network. It is then necessary to consider the reactive energy consumed in order to control and with the aim of saving energy. The objective of this work is to design and implement a single phase Intelligent Electrical Energy Meter (IEEM) capable of measuring instantaneous and an aggregation of real time total active power consumed; the power due to the first harmonic, the deformation factor and the consumed energy, power factor, which can be monitored. Furthermore, the calculation of deformation factor can inform us about the degree of non-linearity of the load. Moreover, the reduction of these losses requires the use of capacitors to provide reactive compensation of electrical energy." @default.
