- W2432270757 abstract "forcement against the stresses from high levels of normal human locomotor activity. This is reflected in the proximal and midshaft medial diaphyseal enlargement, massive gluteal development and an absence of pilastry. Samples of Upper Paleolithic and Mesolithic femora are more gracile and lack an extreme development of these traits. The femora from Mugharet es-Skhul contrast with both the Neandertals and the Upper Paleolithic hominids; they are significantly less robust than either of them. @default.
