However, up to now, it remains a challenge for the probes to detect palladium ions in pure water sample. In this contribution, we disclosed a novel detection method based on surfactant-assisted fluorescence amplification strategy for Pd 2+ detection in pure water. Among of five selected surfactants, Triton X-100 exhibited best sensing properties, such as high selectivity and excellent sensitivity.
