The present work has as objective to investigate and present some significant aspects of electrodynamics Carroll-Field-Jackiw (JTC), in addition to the presentation of some basic concepts and methods used both in usual electrodynamics, as in the model with violation of symmetry. Such electrodynamics is achieved via implementation of background fields (backgrounds), responsible for violation of Lorentz invariance and the investigation began in Lagrangian, which were recovered the equations of motion, subsequent to the wave equations and also Poynting theorem (all Calculations using only basic mathematical methods of graduation). Thereafter, it was started, perhaps the most relevant part of the work, the search for the spreader (AμAʋ), which is of great importance in a field theory, because the same calculation allows the study of consistency of theory and consequently the possibility the development of a quantum portion field theory from the model and this is done from the interaction study (scattering amplitude) in quantum mechanics. The goal here is not to make an effective and thorough analysis of the theory, as I said earlier, but demonstrate a way to present the theory in a simpler way, thus making it more accessible understanding of some of the model key points and their differences the usual electromagnetism Maxwell. Mathematical methods were used to simplify the majority of the calculations, these methods are present within the physics degree, even in degrees." @default.
