- W2487972424 abstract "Cet article expose les resultats de l'oxydation cyclique d'echantillons de chrome possedant deux dimensions differentes 10 × 10 × 2 mm ou 20 × 20 × mm. Les temperatures maximales imposees lors du cycle thermique ont ete de 800, 900 et 1000°C. Les petits et les grands echantillons ont ete polis sur papier SiC jusqu'au grade 600. Des tests d'oxydation cycliques d'une duree totale de 2000 heures a haute temperature ont ete imposes de telle facon qu'un cycle soit constitue de I heure a haute temperature suivi de 12 minutes a temperature ambiante. La technique d'activation nucleaire de la surface du chrome (TLA) a ete utilisee pour quantifier les pertes de masse lors du cycle thermique. A 800 et 900 °C, il apparait que l'effet des cycles thermiques n'est pas different sur le plan cinetique et morphologique quelle que soit la taille de l'echantillon. Par contre, a 1000 °C, ce facteur doit etre pris en compte. A cette temperature les echantillons de petite dimension presentent une perte de masse par unite de surface plus importante. Ceci indique que la couche d'oxyde formee a proximite des aretes est susceptible de se decoller plus facilement que sur les surfaces planes." @default.
