The use of solar pumping system for the exordium of water in these areas is a very reliable solution if properly sized. The sizing of systems PV, especially water pumping, requires the use of model that reflects reality and it needs to be precise. In this work we present a model of a pump unit coupled to a PV generator, the model linking the electrical power consumed by the pump to the flow of water pumped per pumping height. The model parameters and the approximation error are obtained using experimental measurements for this purpose, we used the test bench of photovoltaic pumping of URAER.
