La sécurisation reposait sur les principes suivants : (1) harmonisation des montages ; (2) identification des accès à privilégier en fonction des médicaments et de leur risque toxique ; (3) système clos ; (4) gestion des flux et volumes résiduels. Concernant les facteurs humains, parallèlement au déploiement des nouveaux DM, les IADE ont été formés lors d’ateliers interactifs animés par une IADE référente, un pharmacien et un représentant du fournisseur.
