This paper investigates the effects of some geometric design strategies on service flow rates and PCE values of heavy vehicles on a typical two-lane rural highway with typical Nigerian traffic conditions. The Traffic and Rural Roads (TRARR) model was used to evaluate the effects of increasing the minimum sight distance to the decision sight distance, and the addition of 10-20 per cent passing lanes, on a 10-km stretch of typical highway in rolling terrain." @default.
