• W2507284689 abstract "본 연구는 한자로 기록된 신라 향가 중에 모죽지랑가를 기존의 해독들을 바탕으로 그것들을 보다 높은 관점에서 보다 깊이 있게 해독하고 나아가 그 노래를 현대에 어떻게 가창할 수 있는지 그 음악적 가창성을 논의하였다. 말하자면 신라 향가 모죽지랑가에서 '회(廻)'를 '돌-'로 읽지 않고 '감-'으로 읽었을 때 '눈- 감다'라는 연어관계는 '죽음'이라는 의미적 인식을 환기시킴으로써 작품의 주제인 추모의 정을 보다 절실하게 극대화시킴을 논증하고 이 노래가사를 국악의 특징에 따라 노래불러 보았다. 국악노래의 특징은 1) 한 구 정도의 길이가 한 장단을 이루며 2) 첫 박을 강박으로 시작하여 차츰 하행하는 식으로 진행하며 3) 요성이 있고 발음의 변화가 있으며 4) 깊고 멋스런 기품이 있는 것인데, 이런 특징을 오늘날 전하는 시조창은 그대로 보여주고 있다. 사실 향가가 신라시대에 대중성을 가진 것이었다면 조선시대의 시조도 그런 대중성을 띤 것이었다. 그러므로 오늘날 전해 오는 시조창법을 고려하고 앞서의 국악의 특징을 따라 모죽지랑가를 노래 불러 보고자 하는 것이다. 오늘날 이 같은 시도는 우리 문화를 더욱 풍성히 만들고 세계화시대에 한류의 물결을 보다 높이는 데 기여할 것으로 보인다. 【This study aims to decode newly 'Mojookjirangga' of the Sillian songs on higher viewpoint that is to integrate previous decodings; furthermore to discuss a musical composition of the Sillian song. So to speak, when we read 'hoe(廻)' as 'gam(감)-' instead of 'dol(돌)-' in the song 'Mojookjirangga' which was written in Chinese Characters, such a decoding contributes largely to grip the deep meaning-structure of the elegiac song. Consequently we are able to sing that 'Mojookjirangga' according to the characteristics of national music. However the characteristics of national music are 1) the length of a phrase makes a rhythm, 2) the first beat is strong beat and becomes more and more weak, 3) there are shaking sounds on the long rhythm and changing vowels, 4) there is deep and great dignity in those national music songs. Then we can find those characteristics easily at Sijo-songs. In fact, the Sillian songs and Sijo-songs of Chosun period are more popular music. Then we are going to sing 'Mojookjirangga', referring to the method of Sijo-song and the characteristics of national music.
