- W2510074805 abstract "ハトムギ Coix Lachryma-Jobi L. var. ma-yuen Stapf の主成分 coixol (6-methoxybenzoxazolone)の中枢神経作用を，行動薬理学的ならびに脳波学的に構造の類似した中枢性筋弛緩薬 chlorzoxazone のそれと比較検討した．なお coixol はすべて腹腔内に応用した．その結果，coixol は50～100mg/kg の投与により，ラットおよびマウスの自発運動量を著明に減少させ，また筋弛緩作用も認められ，さらに 100mg/kg の投与により，協調運動の障害も認められた．これらの作用強度は chlorzoxazone と同程度のものであった．また，coixol は50～100mg/kgの投与により，体温下降作用，thiopental 睡眠増強作用ならびに pentylenetetrazol けいれん抑制作用を示した．これらの作用は chlorzoxazone のそれよりも僅かに強力であった．さらに coixol はラットの脳内自己刺激行動に対し著明な抑制作用を示した．次に慢性電極を植込んだラットを用い脳波作用を検討した結果，coixol の 50～100mg/kg の投与により，行動上鎮静を示し，脳波上は傾眠パターンを示すラットが出現した．しかし chlorzoxazone の50～200mg/kg の投与ではこのような傾眠パターンは観察されなかった。coixol は音刺激による脳波覚醒反応を抑制したが，中脳網様体刺激による覚醒反応は抑制しなかった．以上の結果より，coixol の中枢神経に対する作用は chlorzoxazone のそれと質的に類似し，作用強度は僅かに強力であることが示唆された．" @default.
