- W2511351324 abstract "服装文化の世界的傾向をみると，洋服が広く行き渡る一方，各地の民族衣装が廃れているという構図がある。しかし，西アフリカを中心とした地域の女性の間では，いずれとも異なる衣装が普及する。19世紀ヨーロッパで最初に製造され，その後西アフリカにもたらされたプリント布「パーニュ」を用い，衣服に仕立てたものである。アフリカの「伝統」衣装ではない，しかし地域に特有の衣服が，女性たちの間で日常着，晴れ着として用いられている。本研究は，ブルキナファソ第二の都市ボボジュラソの事例から，現地でのパーニュを用いた衣服の着用を明らかにし，独特の衣服が普及する背景を考察した。調査地で観察されたパーニュを用いた衣服は形がきわめて多様であり，さらに流行が継続的に移り変わることが明らかになった。このように形が絶え間なく変化する特質が，世界的に普及する洋服と共通しており，パーニュを用いた衣服が地域で支持される背景として考えられた。" @default.
