- W2512388935 abstract "アフリカ各地の農村では，畑に生える雑草を何らかの用途に利用している例は非常に多く，これらの雑草はその有用性のために畑に残され，生育へ人の積極的なかかわりが見られる場合が少なくない。本稿は，タンザニアの半乾燥地域に居住するサンダウェという人びとと、畑に生育するニセゴマ（Ceratotheca sesamoides）の多様なかかわりを明らかにし、ニセゴマの利用がサンダウェ社会にどのように影響しているのかについて検討することを目的とする。調査の結果、以下の点について明らかになった。1）サンダウェはニセゴマに高い利用価値をおいており，畑でニセゴマを管理している。2）畑に生育するニセゴマの量は世帯ごとのばらつきが大きい。そのため、他者の畑で採集することができるが，そのためのゆるやかな慣行が存在している。3）サンダウェは生葉だけではなく葉を乾燥保存して乾季に利用していた。4）乾燥葉をめぐり世帯間で多様なやりとりがみられ、ニセゴマと穀類のように価格の異なる異種のものの間での物々交換も行われていた。ニセゴマをめぐるこうしたやりとりは、ニセゴマという「半栽培」植物の特性と交換が根付くサンダウェ社会の仕組みによって成立していると示唆された。" @default.
