Perusahaan menginvestasikan dana yang besar untuk menaikkan citra mereknya melalui endorser selebriti dengan tujuan agar tiga kriteria menarik, keahlian dan dapat dipercaya dapat disalurkan ke merek yang didukung. Secara umum hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan perbedaan pengaruh dari sumber pesan dengan kredibilitas yang tinggi dan dapat dipercaya.
