- W2523120482 abstract "This study analyzed the spatial spillover effects of industrial emissions by using the data of 5674 industrial enterprises in Anhui province, China. By introducing spatial correlation indexes and comparing three types of spatial regression models, Spatial Durbin Model was applied to analyze the spatial dependence of emissions intensities of industrial pollutants. It was proved that the spatial spillover effects of water and air pollutant emission intensities were significant in almost all the industrial sectors. The results also showed that both expansion of enterprises' output values and reduction of resources consumptions were two efficient ways to decrease enterprises’ pollutant emissions intensities. However, the influences of these two factors were different between different industrial sectors. Three indicators, including most influential, effective and limited spillover distance, were developed to quantify the spatial expansion of technology spillover for each sector. The results suggested that these sector-dependent distance indicators varied considerably. The effective spillover distances were less than 35 km and 56 km for water and air pollutant emissions respectively. The limited distance could reach 47 km and 80 km for each. Some discussions were given on promotion of water-saving and energy-saving technologies, centralized pollution control, technological transformation and industrial agglomeration development, in order to identify a model for efficient industrial environmental governance." @default.
