Adolescents become more aware of looking at her and him apend more time looking at himself. The physical changes of puberty age is one of the things that often cause problems among early adolescents. To improve her image often teenagers do various things to make it more interesting. This study aims to describe the self-image of students at SMP 3 Soreang at puberty. With the goal of proficiency level, the descriptive research with quantitative analysis of the students at SMP 3 Soreang,with a population of 400 respondents and a sample of 200 respondents. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. Techniques of data collection is done by aclosed questionnaire. Analysis of self-image by finding the score T. The result showed more than 50% of himself have a negative self-image and nearly half had a positive self-image. Himself showed a positive self-image 0f 47% and negative 53%. In girls showed more than 50% have a positive self-image and nearly half had a negative self-image. Herself showed a positive self-image by 54% and negative 46%.  It can be concluded that the boys had more negative self-image than girls. Based on theses result need for efforts to improve the selfiimage in himself and effort to maintain and improve the self-image for herself, with one way that health education. Keyword : Self-image, Puberty, Junior High School Students. Abstrak - Masa pubertas adalah periode yang ditandai dengan pertumbuhan fisik yang pesat. Pada masa ini sebagai remaja akan mengalami perubahan fisik yang drastis baik perubahan psikologis, mental, dan emosional. Perubahan fisik usia pubertas merupakan salah satu hal yang sering menimbulkan masalah dikalangan remaja awal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran citra diri siswa – siswi di SMPN 3 Soreang pada masa pubertas. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan analisa kuantitatif pada siswa – siswi di SMPN 3 Soreang, dengan populasi 400 responden dan sampel 200 responden. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yaitu proporsional random sampling . Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket tertutup. Analisa citra diri dengan mencari skor T. Hasil penelitian menunjukan lebih dari 50% anak laki-laki memiliki citra diri negatif dan hampir setengahnya memiliki citra diri positif. Anak laki-laki menunjukan citra diri positif sebesar 47% dan negatif sebesar 53%. Pada anak perempuan menunjukan lebih dari 50% memiliki citra diri positif dan hampir setengahnya memiliki citra diri negatif. Anak perempuan menunjukan citra diri positif sebesar 54% dan negatif sebesar 46%. Melihat demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa anak laki-laki memiliki citra diri lebih negatif dibandingkan dengan anak perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut perlu adanya usaha untuk meningkatkan citra diri pada anak laki-laki dan usaha mempertahankan dan meningkatkan citra diri untuk anak perempuan, dengan penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai cara meningkatkan potensi tubuh.
