- W2528843381 abstract "Mo and Ni nanoparticles in their oxide and sulfured form, supported on alumina, were synthesized by thermal decomposition method, using a reflux system. Dimethyl disulfide as sulfurizing agent, and nonane as solvent were used. To avoid changes in the product, specially in nanoparticles, the solid separation was carried out by decantation and evaporation under vacuum. Physicochemical properties (morphology, crystalline structure, oxidation state and elemental composition) were obtained using HR-TEM, XPS and ICP techniques. The results indicated the presence of several phases (pure oxides and sulfides of Mo and Ni), MoO 3 , MoS 2 , Ni 2 O 3 and NiS. The MoO 3 was the dominant phase, and mixed phases of Mo and Ni were not found." @default.
