- W2530648027 abstract "Nursing knowledge is epistemologically characterized as practical knowledge, which due to the difficulty in explaining verbally cannot be formalized or transmitted, only demonstrated. This practical reflective knowledge exists in the professional action, in an implicit and personal fashion, and is developed in a complex, uncertain reality saturated with values. In formal nursing education, this practical knowledge should orient planning and curricular action. But beyond asking how to improve the application of the practice of such knowledge in the classroom, we should seek methods in which the students comprehend how specialist nurses are able to deal with the undetermined zones of their practice. We present generalities concerning concepts that are alternative to the dominant technical vision of the hierarchical relationship between technical knowledge and educational or care-based practice. As a strategy that may contribute to this intention and as a foundation of the curriculum, we present the development of the practicum in the initial formal education of nurses. RESUMO: O saber da Enfermagem caracteriza-se epistemologicamente como um conhecimento pra- tico que, por sua dificuldade em explica-lo verbalmente, nao pode ser formalizado nem transmitido, so pode ser demonstrado. Este saber pratico-reflexivo existe na acao profissional de maneira implicita e pessoal, e se desenvolve em uma realidade complexa, incerta e saturada de valores. Na formacao profis- sional, este conhecimento pratico deveria orientar planejamento e acao curricular. Mas antes de pergun- tar como melhorar a aplicacao na pratica do conhecimento de sala de aula, deveriamos buscar manei- ras para que os estudantes compreendam como as enfermeiras especialistas sao capazes de manejar as zonas indeterminadas de sua pratica. Apresentamos generalidades sobre concepcoes alternativas a visao tecnica dominante da relacao hierarquica entre conhecimento tecnico e pratica educativa ou cuidativa. Como estrategia que pode contribuir com esse proposito e como eixo do curriculum, apre- sentamos o desenvolvimento do practicum na formacao inicial de enfermeiras.
