In an organization, there is no doubt that effective leadership plays a crucial role in an organization, if such organisation wants to enhance its productivity. This paper therefore tends to answer the question, what are the impacts of leadership style on productivity of Nigerian workers. The main objective of this paper is to examine the impact of leadership style on productivity of Nigerian workers using Tuyil Pharmaceutical Industries Limited as a reference point. The population sample consists of employees of Tuyil Pharmaceutical Industries Limited and sample unit consist of all the workforces. Simple random sampling was employed to give equal members of staff the opportunity of being selected. Data were collected through questionnaire administration, interview and observation with checklist as its instrument to assist in corroborating the data from the questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using frequency distribution analysis (FDA) and Chi-square analysis was used to test the formulated hypotheses. The paper concludes that effective leadership motivates employees to promote teamwork, willingness to accept responsibility on the part of employees and subsequently lead to high quality decision making and productivity in an organisation." @default.
